Living Quarters Trailers are trailers that include a self contained living area.  This will include a bathroom, kitchen, sleeping area and often times a sofa, dinette table or both.  Living quarters can be put in most larger trailers, bumper pulls 24' and larger and goosenecks, 40' and larger.  Bumper pull living quarters generally range in size from 10'6" to 14' while goosenecks can have larger living quarter areas.  Horse trailers with living quarters are also very popular among horse enthusiasts.  Car trailers with living quarters afford the ability for people to take vehicles to races and shows thus sparing the expense of a hotel.  There are both production and custom builders of living quarters.  Living quarter trailers require power, therefore when shopping for a living quarters trailer, a buyer should consider a generator.  Most campsites and race tracks have power connections, but to run many appliances and have running water, power will be required.  Generators can run utilizing propane, unleaded gasoline and diesel fuel.  Propane generators are popular as they utilize the same propane tanks that run gas burning ranges.  Be sure to use 30 or 40 pound propane tanks if you plan to run a propane generator.
