Trailers are trailers that have walls and a roof that keep exterior objects
and weather elements from effecting the transporting cargo. Enclosed
trailers are generally made of out steel, wood and aluminum. The frame can
be made from either I-Beam or box tube steel and is generally cross members are
place every 16". Walls are framed with either steel box tube or steel hat
posts and normally have an aluminum exterior that ranges in thickness between
.024 and .050 inches.

trailers utilize a rear ramp door, while general cargo trailers utilize
doors that swing open. The flooring in enclosed trailers is generally made
of plywood or another form of engineered hardwood. Enclosed trailers can
range in size from 4'x6' to 8.5'x53'. Non commercial enclosed
trailers can carry a maximum weight of 24,000, which is achieved by utilizing 3,
8,000 pound axles. Enclosed trailers have many different options
available, including living quarters, electrical packages, vinyl flooring, ATP
flooring, cabinets and more.
