Car Trailers are vehicles that are designed to be pulled by a motorized vehicle with the express use of transporting a car.  The main characteristic that differentiates a car trailer is a rear ramp door for loading.  Enclosed car trailers allow the user to keep their car free from exterior road hazards as well as weather.  A common use is race car trailers.    Car trailers also utilize a tie down system, such as e-track or d-rings.  E-track is a long strip of metal with small slots for specialized tie downs.  E-Track allows the user to place a tie down every 2-3 inches, where as d-rings are fixed loops.  E-track is also commonly placed on walls.  Car trailers are commonly equipped with cabinets for storage of tools, oil, fuel or items associated with cars.  Other car trailer option are tire racks, ramp extensions for cars that sit low to the ground, 110v electricity packages and air conditioners.
